Streamlined Yard Layouts

The equipment used in any given scenario is determined by the decisions of the operator. Training, knowledge, expertise, and the backing of an experienced company are critical factors in enabling the right decision on what equipment is best for the job.

To discuss any given scenario, our scaffolders have instant access to T&M's Managing Director — arguably the most experienced and skilled scaffolder in the west of Scotland.

Efficient Racking Systems

Some of the most time-consuming factors in scaffolding work can be the locating, loading and unloading of equipment. To combat the amount of valuable time used here, we have developed a customised racking system to streamline our equipment procedures. The features of our racking system include:

All racking systems are geared for maximum efficiency
All truck racks match our land racks to reduce loading/unloading time
Each component used to carry out our contracts has an identified location to be stored in that all staff are familiar with.

In general, most time loss is due to equipment not being available because it was not in a known position to be sourced. For this reason we have incorporated the “Five S’s Model” into our yard and trucks to drastically improve efficiency.

Streamlined Yard Layouts

We pride ourselves in our ability to routinely overview our systems and procedures to ensure any improvements are made that will enhance our service to clients. To this effect, even our Yard Layouts are streamlined to improve efficiency.

All of our yards are planned right down to the last bolt. Use of available space and stock control levels are monitored to ensure that both our scaffolders and yard staff work in harmony to fulfill project requirements efficiently by reducing mobilization time.
